Rebecca’s Picks for a Healthy Nursery

Healthy Nursery

With a new year on the way, Well.ca’s CEO Rebecca has resolved to create a healthy space for new baby Samantha. And so she shared some of her must-haves for a safe baby space with us!

Her first pick is a new item that is so helpful for new parents. It’s the innovative Owlet Baby Monitor which uses hospital technology to monitor baby’s heat rate and oxygen levels and make sure they’re having a safe and peaceful sleep.

Of course, no nursery is complete without a diaper pail, and the Ubbi White Diaper Pail with Clouds is an eco-friendly one that doesn’t use disposable plastics. Plus, it locks smells and germs in so that you have less to worry about!

Beyond nursery items, Rebecca has also got hers stocked with healthy, organic skincare products for baby Samantha. Here go-to for wipes of all kinds is the brand Aleva Naturals. They make super gentle wipes for face, hands and sensitive bottoms that are made of sustainable and biodegradable bamboo.

For baby’s delicate skin, Rebecca loves the Seventh Generation Coconut Care Diaper Cream which contains only pure, natural ingredients. And when it’s bath time, Rebecca swears by the Canadian brand Carina Organics and their line of gentle baby care products such as body wash and bubble bath. And for pacifiers, nothing’s healthier for baby than Hevea’s Natural Rubber versions. They’re BPA free and sustainably made, and won’t crack so they’re extra hygienic!

For on the go, Rebecca always brings an aden + anais Bamboo Stroller Blanket to keep Samantha warm and cozy. These blankets are super soft for baby and are made from sustainable bamboo. And finally, her trusty Baggu Baby Bag is always at hand for when Rebecca and Samantha want to have a quick outing. These reusable bags are great for stashing wet clothes or diapers on the go.
