Try This “TropiKale” Green Smoothie Recipe for Tomorrow’s Breakfast

Cooking and coming up with new recipes (especially new ways to health-ify some of my old comfort food staples) are some of my favourite ways to spend my time, so I wanted to share one of my favourite recipes — my super healthy, super tasty TropiKale Green Smoothie!
Most days, I try to hit the gym in the morning with my workout buddy (a.k.a. my husband Alex) and then make us smoothies for a quick, easy, nutritious breakfast. What I’m making varies by what I’m in the mood for that day (and, let’s be honest, what I have in the fridge and freezer), but this green smoothie is becoming a fast favourite. It’s packed with yummy tropical fruit like pineapples and mangoes (which, as a born and raised Caribbean girl, I can’t resist putting into as many things as possible), chia seeds for protein, fibre, and Omega-3, and of course, a heaping helping of fresh kale. If you’re a fan of green smoothies and are as solidly #TeamKale as I am, you’ll want to add this one into your rotation.
