Got Acne? Caudalie Vinopure Is Here to Help

Goodbye acne, hello clear skin!

When we were teens, most of us had at least some acne almost 8 in 10 teens have acne and pimples. At least some form of acne is so common in teens that it’s considered a normal part of puberty. BUT! Skin issues don’t only affect teenagers; adults often suffer too. Adult acne may be a continuation of skin breakouts experienced during adolescence or may occur for the first time as an adult. Adult-onset acne and is more common in women than men, likely related to fluctuating hormones with breakouts occurring around menstrual periods and during pregnancy, perimenopause and/or menopause. Factors contributing to adult acne are family history; stress, pore-clogging beauty products, certain medications or specific underlying medical conditions.

Although acne is a skin disease, it is the primary reason for prominent emotional and psychological issues for women and men. Luckily, acne is not incurable—and although clear skin can feel like a distant dream for so many, Caudalie has us shouting from the rooftops (and not hiding our faces while we’re shouting) about their new skincare line. When you know the struggle of visible pores, inflamed blemishes and an oily t-zone, you can feel lost. When it comes to acne, finding products that help calm and soothe breakouts rather than aggravate your skin can be difficult—especially with SO many options available.

Caudalie Vinopure line is the option we are excited to have finally found. The products, formulated using natural ingredients, visibly improve the quality of acne-prone skin, without being harsh or damaging. While salicylic acid is often in the press for being the ‘best’ spot-solving ingredient, it’s not for everyone and should be used with caution. Caudalie’s Vinoperfect line features 100% natural salicylic acid extracted from winterleaf, which can be used every day, twice a day—without issues—and it unblocks pores and refines skin texture. The products also contain ingredients such as niacinamide to reduce dilated pores, polyphenols to limit the oxidation of sebum that’s responsible for blackheads and six antibacterial essential oils: lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, rosemary, lemon balm and geranium. Their products are also dermatologically tested and formulated without synthetic fragrance and PEGS, and are non-photosensitising.

Which skin types will benefit from Vinopure?

The skin types that will most benefit from Caudalie’s Vinopure line are those with adult acne. Adult acne tends to be blemishes caused by hormones and is usually occasional and/or reactional. This line of products is great for oily skin and combinations skin with oily t-zones. Vinopure doesn’t dry out your skin, it contains natural ingredients that clear skin without stripping it of natural oils and other defences.

There are four skincare steps to follow morning and night in the Vinopure routine. Each product ranges from a 96% to 98% natural formula, which is hugely beneficial for aggravated skin that’s usually associated with acne and blemishes.

The Caudalie routine for healthy and glowing skin:

Step One: Purifying Gel Cleanser

Vinopure Gel Cleanser is the first essential step in your beauty routine against blemishes. It cleanses, tightens pores and reduces excess sebum without drying skin out, leaving it clean, fresh and luminous. Use morning and evening. Massage gel onto damp skin, while avoiding the eye contour area, to create a light foam. Rinse with water.

Step Two: Purifying Toner

Vinopure Toner tightens pores, reduces imperfections and oily shine. Skin is purified, mattified, clean and clear. Gently eliminates blemishes leaving the skin toned and fresh. Morning and evening, on cleansed skin, with a cotton pad or clean fingertips while avoiding the eye contour. Do not rinse.

Step Three: Blemish Control Salicylic Serum

Vinopure Blemish Control Salicylic Serum reduces imperfections and blemishes while it unclogs and tightens pores. It refines skin texture and visibly improves the appearance of acne-prone skin for a healthy shine-free glow. Apply morning and evening to a cleansed, dry face. Avoid the eye contour. Allow the product to fully absorb before applying your cream. If skin feels dry after application, limit use to once a day.

Step Four: Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid

A refreshing gel that offers all-day-long, shine-free hydration. Reduces imperfections (spots and blackheads), refines skin texture, leaving the skin hydrated, mattified and healthy-looking. Apply morning and evening to a cleansed and toned face, ideally after your serum or by itself. Avoid the eye contour.

Bonus Step: Purifying Mask

This mask is enriched in natural green clay and natural zinc; two ingredients known for purifying and balancing the skin. It is the ideal treatment for combination to oily skin that is prone to breakouts. Highly concentrated in purifying botanical oils, this non-drying mask works to eliminate impurities, balance the skin and deeply cleanse to leave skin mattified and clear of imperfections. Apply once a week to the whole face or just on the T-zone area. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse with water.

Caudalie’s Vinopure line was created for anyone concerned and affected by skin problems in everyday life. This highly natural skincare routine uses powerful active ingredients to restore beautiful and balanced skin, which is why we love it so much!
