Want to get the perfect, flirty sweetheart look this Valentine’s Day? Or just always wondered what it takes to get that look for any occasion? We asked one of our resident makeup experts to show us a step-by-step breakdown of her routine for special occasions and we think it’s pretty simple…and pretty gorgeous!

Step 1: Cover Up

Cover up under eye area in a ‘V’ shape from your outer to inner corner with a creamy concealer like Pacifica Transcendent Concentrated Concealer. Then, buff the concealer into your skin feathering it out for a lighter application towards the bottom. This will erase any stubborn bags instead of highlighting them.

Step 2: Apply Powder

Apply a light layer of powder like Pure Anada Loose Mineral Matte Finishing Powder all over your face to eliminate shine and lock in your concealer.

Step 3: Neutral Eye

Step 4: Eyeliner
