DIY Nourishing Eye Serum
The eye area has thinner skin and fewer oil glands than the rest of the face, leaving it much more susceptible to the effects of dropping temperatures as we head into fall. But fear not — this nourishing eye serum is perfect for keeping dry, crepey, or puffy under eyes at bay. Packed with nutrient-rich healing plant oils and reparative essential oils, it’s excellent for preventing fine lines and wrinkles!
- 1 ½ teaspoons Rosehip Seed Oil
- 1 teaspoon Argan Oil
- 1 teaspoon Macadamia Oil
- ¾ teaspoon Apricot Kernel Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Vitamin E Oil
- 12 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- 6 drops Carrot Seed Essential Oil
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and gently stir together. Use a funnel to transfer the mixture into glass rollerball bottles*.
To use: Morning or night, roll serum directly onto the orbital bone and under eye area. Pat in gently with fingers.
*Recipe makes enough to fill 3 rollerball bottles — keep them all for yourself or pass the extras on as gifts!
