DIY Hand Soap with Lavender & Mint Essential Oils

Lavender and Mint

This DIY hand soap has a great lavender and mint scent that everyone will love! Kids will love to help make it, and parents will love that it’s made with natural, recognizable ingredients. Adding moisturizing carrier oils like almond or jojoba gives it added moisturizing benefits.

Ingredients

Directions

Fill a liquid soap dispenser container 3/4 of the way with the liquid castile soap. Add 2-3 drops of almond or jojoba oil, and essential oils. Fill the remainder of the container with water, and shake gently to mix.

Feel free to play around with other scent blends if lavender and mint isn’t for you. And don’t forget to check out the rest of our content on aromatherapy!

Just wondering, how much almond oil to add? It says the castile soap is to take up 3/4 of the dispenser…and after the other ingredients, fill the rest with water. A couple squirts of almond oil? More? Less?
    Thanks so much! 🙂

Hi Pam! Just a couple squirts will be fine. Enjoy!
