It’s creamy and has the same flavours you love in Black Forest cake – but it’s totally vegan-friendly and free of refined sugar. Plus it packs in a dose of protein!
Cherry Chocolate Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 scoop of your favourite chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 3/4 frozen cherries
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3/4 ice
- maple syrup (optional, to taste)
Directions
Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Tip: This also makes an awesome smoothie bowl topped with raw cacao nibs, cherries, and coconut flakes. Use 3/4 cup of almond milk instead to make a thicker smoothie if you’re opting for a smoothie bowl.
